What happened with IML and the passport mark?
Do we have the mark yet?
Is it yet “ripe” to challenge?
I sometimes read laws and scratch my head? On the Megan’s Law Website, I noted we are supposed to contact LE whenever we leave town or go on a trip? I wouldn’t even know who to call. When I last registered, none of that was mentioned: initials
I do have a question. I typically list my vehicle when I register, while my wife has her car and a sports car in the garage. I can’t even recall my license plate number, but I bring my registration in. They even request the vin? I didn’t list /never have my wife’s car and a sports car. Prior to receiving a receipt, they gave me a handout:/print out of past cars and maybe a sports car license plate? Mark yes or no? The license plates where listed and some of the cars makes? I posted not sure by some of them? Any thoughts? I can just see the compliance guys coming by to try something ? (Exlunged battery 20years ago with summary probation). Please advise
Or a car you ” regularly” drive whether or not it is registered under your name.
Regularly means with a constant or definite pattern, at uniform intervals of time. Yes, ambiguous, intentionally so.
I was reading another’s States ( Iowa, I think) registration rules once , and they require any vehicle that is kept on your property, including names of people they are registered to. ( and your household members names, ages and birth dates, whether they have a car or not)
Creepy.
