[factswt.com 4/22/18]

According to an announcement from the government of India, the death penalty will soon be imposed upon those convicted of raping a child who is under 12 years of age.

An ordinance was approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as the cabinet. That ordinance will allow the death penalty in order to combat a rise in crime—including sexual violence crimes.

According to Indian media, the ordinance has been sent to the President.

Why not just adopt full Sharia law ! Kill them all and let God sort them! Everyone enjoys a good killing to satisfy self righteousness ! Let’s focus more world help on women ! You know that’s the answer !

The problem with this is that if it is anything like the US then by the time the person is convicted the name of the charge might be totally different then the actual offense. By the time the DA, the attorney’s and the judge finagle and cut backroom deals who knows what the charge may be called. So a person who didn’t actually forcibly penetrate a victim might be executed simply by the name they put on the person conviction.
