This is GREAT!!

I hope more and more of these victories continue to include damages. Once these morons realize that this is going to cost their constituents’ tax money, then maybe, just maybe, they will think twice before creating these unconstitutional ordinances!!!!

Shouldn’t these victories be shouted at the top of every mountain!!!

Let registrants and their families know they can fight back!!!

Yes we can!!!

Is it unusual the court did not have the State pay his legal bill ? Wonder how much the $84M will go to his attorney ?

What I find of great interest is the City chose to settle, especially with only a preliminary injunction in place. Sounds like the City knew they were going to get whacked hard in court…and create a binding precedent in the 8th Circuit. It’s also interesting that they didn’t pursue it, being in the 8th Circuit. The 8th is pretty conservative, so one would think the States is comprises would push back hard. Nope. Such a shame no precedent out of it, though.

It would be great if people commented at the article where people can see it. Right now there are a lot of comments there from people who love Nanny Big Government. Those people see that most people agree with them.

There are only a handful of registrants like the guy in this story ! We hear of soo many stories of vengeance on registrants, but this person, who by the way was a paralegal, made life difficult on ALL who affected him. Maybe only a few of you may take the time to read a fascinating backstory; just goggle his full name and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed!

hmm think i might try this, i’m in Landfall Minnesota and had a city tell me I could never live there and kicked me out and the person that was letting me stay with him. the police woulnt tell them why they wanted to talk to me during a yearly check in. they kept digging in and figured it out and kicked me out. then 6 years later they told my detective i was living there. he just laughed at them he knew i wasent lol.
