DEXTER, Mo. — A man found dead in his Dexter home last week was stabbed, according to the Stoddard County coroner.
Law enforcement began investigating the homicide of Jimmy Lynn Casey, 66, after a home-health worker found his body June 28.

At what point in our society did it become accepted by the judicial and political community to risk the lives of citizens by labeling, publicly humiliating, and putting them intentionally in harm’s way.
If I throw someone into a tank of hungry sharks and cut their arms, am I allowed to then claim innocence for their death because the sharks ” MIGHT not have attacked them”?
But as RSOs, we WILL automatically repeat any and all offenses, so we are being held accountable AND responsible for all past, present, and future crimes. It boggles the educated mind.
I have a strong opinion that ALL registrants with or without a felony conviction should be allowed to carry a weapon whether as open carry and/or concealed. Call it the consequences for having a draconian public registry… Such a law would encourage change to the public method of registry in the vary least.
We don’t yet know the reason for the stabbing, but let’s assume it relates to his being listed on the Registry. “Casey … was a compliant sex offender” So, if you register compliantly as Mr. Casey did, you are a target for crazed vigilantes who may kill you…..and if your don’t register, you are charged with a felony. WTF?!! 😡
