Keep up the pursuing RSOL. I can’t wait for the next meeting in Los Angeles come July.

“Kerry and South Shore resident Kenny Curtzwiler both urged parents to be on lookout for sexual abuse of children and proactive in reporting suspicious behavior or suspected criminal wrongdoing to law enforcement.”

That is the smartest statement in this article! DUH! Watch your kids. Stop trying to create a Nanny State do do your job!!!
IDIOTS!!!!!

(Councilwoman JoAnn Conner called it mind-boggling and disgusting that California’s courts “decided to ignore children in deference to sexual predators.”) Translation to modern English: One size fits all

(“We have been in contact with other affected agencies, including the district attorney for El Dorado County, to look at revisions of what would be constitutionally permissible. This is not something we will allow to stand as the status quo,” Watson said.)Translation to modern English: I am not feeling sorry for myself!

(“If laws can helps us in that regard, great. But ultimately, educating children is probably the best thing we can do,” Laine said.)Translation to modern English: Duuuh

(Kerry and South Shore resident Kenny Curtzwiler both urged parents to be on lookout for sexual abuse of children and proactive in reporting suspicious behavior or suspected criminal wrongdoing to law enforcement.)Translation to modern English: Hey! ma!!! Look at me; I’m smart now!

Methinks the Councilmember’s mind boggles easily: “Our ordinance has been in effect for years; the lawsuits and court decision were recent filings, forcing us to repeal the ordinance or be sued by a large and powerful entity. We can’t afford to fight; we must prepare our children to be aware.” Hey, that’s a fine idea! Prepare your children to be aware — knowledgeable, enlightened and well informed. Sounds like responsible parenting to me.
