We’ve heard too much of politicians saying one thing and doing another. Shut up and show it, do it and stop talking about making changes, just freakin’ make them!
We are encouraged that elected officials in all parties are waking up to the facts regarding registered citizens. When they are truly awake, they will understand that current laws and policies create a false sense of security and place children at greater risk. Fact: more than 90 percent of all children who are sexually assaulted are assaulted by a family member, teacher, coach or clergyman. Fact: the rate of re-offense for registered citizens on parole is 1.8 percent. Red dots and residency restrictions harm, not increase, public safety.
