ACSOL looks forward to returning to Berkeley on July 15 in order to meet with registrants, family members and supporters! We have a lot of important information to share including how the Tiered Registry Bill is expected to affect your daily lives. And of course we want to hear about challenges you are facing, too.

    • Mary

Hello, do we need to register to attended the meeting?

    • Sebastian caparelli

I just transferred to Berkeley from San Diego! I’m so excited by this news. I have made it to Berkeley with honors and full scholarships to pay for my education not because of a successful reentry program but despite the CDCR blocking me and hindering my every move. Transferring here has been nearly impossible housing wise and I may be a homeless student because I’m so restricted by both community and cdcr restrictions. You know what this has accomplished besides constant anxiety and health problems….. my determination after my ba I’ve chosen to enter Berkeley law this honor student wants to go after them in the courts. Civil rights and protection for those who cannot afford legal help. I’ll see you on campus go bears go RSOL I refuse to accept my stigma I prove them wrong every day just by living as a a free man not a pariah.

Sebastian, I like you a Lot!!!!!

I am way down south from you, but if there is anything I can do for you at Berkeley Law…probably nothing in the first year, but after that maybe.

Keep us informed…1Law is a bitch, but hang in there…many of us are pulling for you…actually, you are an inspiring story.

My Very Best Wishes for Your Every Success, James

Hang in their Sebastian. I did 5 years post-prison with the electronic ball and chain. One thing that happened that was good when I was on CDCR parole is that when I become homeless, suddenly curfew was no longer a restriction, which meant I could travel easier due to distances and bus schedules, but it did introduce a limited window of time i can be at any residence.

I recently moved to beautiful mountains of Santa Cruz. Berkley is about a 2 and 1/2 bus ride for me so if timing works, i’ll be there.

        Good luck in your endeavours..
