A convicted sex offender accused of attending a Northside High school dance recital was arrested over the weekend but has since bonded out of jail.
__________, 44, of N. Carole Drive in Jacksonville was arrested Saturday by the Jacksonville Police Department and charged with felony sex offender on child premises.
__________, , a convicted felon, is accused of attending a dance recital at Northside High School on Saturday, according to warrants.
Beth Purcell, Jacksonville Police Department’s media liasion, wrote in an email to the Daily News that officers responded to calls of a disturbance at Northside around 12:35 p.m. Saturday.
Purcell noted __________, violated the terms of his sex offender registration by attending the dance recital.
This stuff is getting really embarrassing for law enforcement and others trying to restrict free citizens.
I personally know of multiple people that by today’s standards every single one of them should be listed as an SO.
But guess what…no one pressed charges and these people moved on with their lives and they are free to live and work and travel wherever TF they want to. These restrictions, and harassment are BullShit! Let people move TF on with their lives already.
“…violated the terms of his sex offender registration…”
That phrase is what should terrify people.
If registration was truly an “administrative” endeavor, there shouldn’t be any “terms.” Just sign, confirm, pose.
Those “terms” applied to filling out a form is irrefutably punishment, and courts are finally beginning to take notice.
