ACSOL Conference ticket sales halted

The ACSOL board of directors has decided to halt the sale of tickets for ACSOL’s annual conference which is scheduled to take place on May 29 and May 30 at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.

This decision is based, in part, upon the fact the law school closed its campus to the public on March 11 for an indefinite period of time.

ACSOL has not yet decided whether to postpone or to cancel the annual conference which could be held at a different location.

Refunds for past ticket sales will be available after ACSOL makes the decision whether to postpone or cancel the conference.  Thank you.

I was hoping that by the end of May, we might have some good news and that the campus might be re-opened. If not, then I really hope that the conference can be postponed as opposed to canceling it altogether. Wouldn’t you just know it. We need this conference more than ever THIS year because of everything going on. SO much news, SO many changes and updates. Oh boy, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

That is a real shame. I can’t go, but I would hope it could just be postponed until this virus passes. Normally these flu type viruses start disappearing once warm weather begins. Unfortunately everything will get worse for awhile before that happens. The CA governor just ordered all bars to close and restaurants to reduce seating by 50% for extra space between customers. You know that when greedy Disneyland closes, it’s a serious situation. In CA, the governor is talking about placing all homeless people in hotel rooms. That would be a good thing for our homeless registrants.

Possibly go virtual and online live? Buy a pass code good for the live sessions, production, etc? Hate for the good work so far to be on hold when many look forward to it.

Janice several of the events I do per year thus far schedualed in April and May have been cancelled due to this out break of the Convid-19 virus. While your group is doing a good job and I’m here in VA and strive as we all do I would enjoy listing to one of your events. I’m sure your conference offers great insight to all.

While this virus is an act of God it has a meaning for either good or bad or true understanding to those who understand. So ACSOL organization I wish you the best in your success and your informative platform.
