ACSOL has elected law professor Catherine Carpenter as the new president of its board of directors. Professor Carpenter previously served as Vice President of the board of directors for about five years. Professor Carpenter teaches at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and has authored a series of law review articles questioning registries, residency restrictions and related laws.
ACSOL also elected sociologist Emily Horowitz as the new vice president of its board of directors. Ms. Horowitz previously served as a member of the board of directors for about four years. Ms. Horowitz is the author of two books regarding the registry, including a new book that will be released to the public in early 2023.
David Whitehead will remain Secretary and Frank Lindsay will remain Treasurer of the ACSOL board of directors. The remaining seven board members include Chance Oberstein, Janice Bellucci, Alex Landon, Alex Gittinger, Eleanor Miller, Sherri Harlow and Jay Rice.
Way to go ACSOL now onward, upward and to the future.
Emily Horowitz is new VP of the BOARD, so it is diff than ACSOL then, ignorant and been abreast attending most all Conf’s and zooms and other but misunderstood and The Foundation, where is Kathleen in all this? Found Alex and Sherri though. Thanks for that update. CONGRATS TO ALL and THANK YOU EACH FOR YOUR SERVICE!
Thank you all. I’m deeply grateful.
Thank you all for your perseverance and dedication. You bring hope.
Amazing !!
This new board has already achieved success! It has successfully made me more hopeful!
Thank you all for all you do, and for being the kind of people that do it!
Heavy is the crown and none is heavier than this one.
Will this change anything with the monthly meetings? I’m sure the new people are great, but I personally like listening to Chance and Janice at the meetings.
Thanks forall you do.
