He needs to put the signs up again. We should be able to say, whatever we want.
The table was turned and the public did not like it. Tough S**t! First Amendment applies to all, not just those who you think it does and the rest are excluded.
He needs to put those signs back up just because we need a win whenever we can get it.
So yard signs can only contain the messages that “they” want expressed? 🧐
Messages such as “No Halloween candy at this home.” 🤔
Nothing like government-compelled unfreedom-of-speech, right? 😒
Curious about a few things here, and feeling like maybe there’s more to this story than the sparse information presented in the short video clip.
Such as…
What prompted this individual to post these signs, and why are they directed exclusively at children (or, why do people believe that they are.)
What do the signs actually say (censorship really annoys me, especially in instances where words are blurred out.)
Does “free speech” *only* protect speech that is “appropriate/inoffensive”. Where is the line drawn.
And finally, what does this individual really hope to accomplish by p*ssing off everyone in his neighborhood (more so than they already are, anyway). He’s basically advertising himself for vandalism and/or possibly even assault, so he’d better be ready for that if he’s serious about “expressing himself”. Honestly, good luck to him.
Does anybody here know what the signs actually said? They were fuzzed out by the TV station.
No idea what is going on here but I’m glad people are suffering. The first guy speaking said, “… you have sex offenders …” so he can go f*ck himself. This seems to really bother him and that makes me happy. Registry A**holes/Supporters/Terrorists need problems. As long as Registries exist there must be problems.
” Registries don’t keep you safe, but gives you a false sense of security.”
” 95% of sex crimes occur by someone the victim knows.”
” What happens to registrants may someday happen to you.”
” If you need a list to keep you safe you must of driven off after ordering your Happy Meal.”
” If evidence scares you try growing a spine.”
The comment on youtube about this “devil 👹will never see sunset” kind of has me concerned. I wonder if he did see the next sunset after this piece was aired.
Far be it from me to judge a book by its cover, but the “reporter,” Bob Aaron, looks like he might have some rather unsavory proclivities.
