KS: Wichita school district completes installation of visitor security system

By Monday, all Wichita public schools will have the new Hall Pass security system, which scans visitors’ driver’s licenses and checks them against a sex-offender database.

This summer, the Wichita school board voted to spend up to $200,000 to install scanners and related equipment at all 91 school buildings and train employees to use them. Schools have been installing the system at a rate of about one high school feeder pattern per week. Full Article

They should be scanning for Gun owners.

This country gets crazier by the minute. Lord help us.

Is there any doubt now that Big Brother is watching?

Well—why not scan for evidence of domestic violence? drug use by parents or close relatives? ebola? They really need to scan for all of these things, otherwise they are failing to protect “our children”. And lets face it, all this work costs money. If T.S.A. charges fees for security scans when you get on an airplane, all the more reason to do it when you enter a school. The children seem to be the main reason we “need” a police state—–let those who have the children that need so much protection, pay for the costs of the police state.

Give me a break .. who’s scanning the school personnel ..?..that’s who they need to be scanning and under very close Watch…scan that.

I’m starting to be impressed at all of the various ways people come up with to do stupid things.

Diversionary tactics like this are done to keep the attention off the real problem in America and that is the erosion of constitutional rights.

Has there ever been a problem with a registered sex offender at a school? Are these people just that stupid to think that checking a database of someone ALREADY CONVICTED of a sex related issue is going to enter a school looking for a victim…really? That stupid…WOW

No…this is the same old sh*t..boggy man out there…look at us…protecting your precious little children from them…oh and also don’t forget Ebola is out there too…probably being spread by those perverts too. LOCK THEM ALL UP AND THROW AWAY THE KEY.

Sounds ridiculous until you think about it…I am sure Sarah Palin and other such intelligent politicians would sell that to the public in a second (and probably actually believe it themselves!
