I’m not sticking up for Ramos in any way, shape or form, but this woman said she want’s to be an example for her daughter?!?!!!! The point being she couldn’t handle a simple situation like rebuffing unwanted advances; is this how she will teach her daughter to handle a similar situation? Is she going to teach her daughter to be a victim instead of a upright woman that can handle a similar situation instead of expecting the courts to handle it for her? I’ve known girls in Jr high school that had it more together than that. I think this woman should seriously consider getting some assertion training, as well as a healthy dose of common sense so she can recognize a potential problem and deal with it before it goes too far, like a normal person would do.
I wonder why Ramos would think someone would want to attack his standing in the community for what is seemingly no reason what so ever. And why is he not in jail? why is he not being dragged through the mud and having LE and the district attorneys totally besmirching his name without consideration for his wife and children? I mean; he is suspected of a sex crime. In most cases that is all that is needed to totally destroy someone and thrust their family into a life they never thought existed in their worst dreams; even if the individual wins in a court of law. Why is he not being treated as guilty unless he can somehow prove his innocence amid the jumbled tangled mess of laws that are so numerous that no man alive knows all of them?
Wouldn’t it be something if we lived in an honest world where the courts were more interested in truth instead of conviction rates, and this guy wound up sharing a cell with the mayor of Carson? Fat chance that would ever happen; right?
