WI: Kenosha Sex Offender Residency Board votes to allow man to reside near middle school despite objections for constitutional reasons

The Kenosha Sex Offender Residency Board, in a decision decried by residents who spoke against it, authorized an exemption to the city’s restrictions to allow a registered offender to live near a middle school.

The board voted unanimously Thursday evening to allow Ronald W. _____ to reside in the 7900 block of 46th Avenue. The board made up of Veronica King and Lester Wright met in closed session before reaching their decision.

Roughly a dozen concerned residents attended the meeting to voice their opposition to the exemption. Many said the home is too close to Lance Middle School, 4515 80th St.

“I was convicted of a misdemeanor, but I’m still on the same registration as guys and women that have committed much more heinous sexual crimes,” he said.

Wright said the board voted for the exemption because “the law the way it is written in Kenosha is unconstitutional unless they allow exemptions.”

Fellow registrants: are you having problems finding housing? First contact registrant support organizations in your state, if any, and find out housing regulations and how to deal with them.

No support organization in your state? Call your local Lawyer’s Bar association and ask for the legal referral service. Tell them you want to talk on the phone with an attorney specializing in sex offense laws, then pay the $75 (varies) fee. When you call the attorney(s) explain the housing issues you are facing, and ask your rights. Ask if local laws require exemptions to be constitutional, and if those exemptions would help you.

“The law the way it’s written in Kenosha is unconstitutional, unless they allow exceptions.”

Quite the statement.

You know their are today exceptions to every rule. Yes you even reap what you sow. But who is sowing and who is reaping? Sure their are principals such as the one mentioned about wedding vows or even other vovs. Even law has an oath to protect and serve but in much of this registry who are they actually protecting. Those who have ears let them hear.

While I at times talk about the bible should we say the Commandments over ride the Constitution? One would have to say yes to that one. Is this registry a mockery of true justice in many forms? or is this registry a vain slanderous type of bearing false witness. While one may be talking about exceptions is murdering ones reputation an exception. Even Janice has said the punishment must fit the crime. So who is enticing or setting up this type of sexual invasion. Yes when someone tricks someone in this type of ordeal they are bearing false witness against another in this presumptuous type setting.

Wow Tim I would have never came up with that one guess that’s computer thinking. Talk about Abbot and Costello’s Who’s on first………… maybe the computers on first.. you think.or true wisdom. Course I would hate to be a proud boy in D.C right now.
