This reflects poorly on all of us; the registry was still worthless in preventing this.

I hate these types of articles. It is just like when they show a plane crash. It is horrible, but they don’t mention the 1 million planes that did NOT crash. Same with this article. It focuses on the one person who happens to be a registrant, but it does not talk about the tens of thousands registrants who do NOT commit another offense.

Let’s not cry so many tears in our beers for ourselves we forget two young people have been assaulted, and that is a tragedy. Spare a thought for them?

Yes, this is not what we need either. I agree however that, while very tragic, it is rare that it involves a registrant. That is, sadly, probably the only reason we are hearing about it. Any chance to use a registrant to scare the people into blind devotion to the sacred cow system. That is also sad.

There should be a mention of how their beloved sacred cow did nothing to prevent this. However, too much talk of failure and someone might think we need to “fix this”. That can prove to be a problem for all us. Also, no talk of ineffectiveness really matters. Laws like this don’t actually have to be effective, just desired by the people and not in violation of the constitution. So they got half of what they need already!

Remember, counterintuitive as it is, laws like this THRIVE on failure. It’s really a simple idea.

An event takes place, like the tragedy that started this all.

1: Use the the event to scare the bejesus out of everyone!
“There are DEVILS among us!”

2: Create a magic bullet solution for all problems
“Something must be done!”

3: Fire your Magic Bullet at the Devil’s
“This will slay the Devil’s!”

4: Use the failure of the magic bullet to justify expansion
“These Devils are worse than we thought! More must be done!

5: Enchant your bullet with stronger magic
“This will fix everything!

Repeat steps 3-5 an infinite number of times. Congratulations, you now have a Sacred Cow!

Wow just because he goes to parks, walks around, or goes to a movie they picked him up! Doesn’t say they have more proof than that. Remember innocent until proven guilty. Oh wait he’s a sex offender guilty until proven innocent!

The registry did nothing to prevent this guy from attacking people if anything it caused him too
life on the registry is hard believe it or not a lot of people in California don’t make it a lot people are homeless or doing hard time in prison, a lot people just give up and say phuck it I can’t live on the streets at least in jail I get 3 hots and cott might as well go out with a bang.

Not good! How can this be prevented?

Well………..

________ says that her son has autism, doesn’t communicate well, and that there is no proof that he did anything wrong.

When asked if he touched the girls, she said, “I don’t know. I don’t know. I have no idea. But I don’t think so. Those girls have to be responsible for them too.”
When she was reminded that one of the girls was only 13 years old, Lyubov got defensive.
“I’m not sure about that. It’s what people say, but there is no proof of that yet.”

Not the first family member to defend an offender, however his original crime was an online bait and trap type crime, still a crime though.

Maybe the autism thing is true, nailed for using the web for his first crime and nailed again using social media to get young girls, neither of whom were violently forced, yes victims of course, but not hair dragging, face punching head bashing rape…. he convinced them to bag it out somehow.

He does look much younger than 28 to me. Can an autistic be an efficient groomer of teens? I cannot even get a date on Ashley Madison with old, fat, ugly married broads cheating on older and uglier husbands, so I am suspicious of the autistic angle…

“He is known to frequent public recreation areas, parks and movie theaters throughout Sacramento County”…

Frequent, or merely pass by regularly like any normal citizen would?

Great now expect legislation banning us from movie theaters or anywhere human beings congregate

My thought on this is that he has a lot of money for being as young as he looks…. Russian mob maybe? (Based on his name) like his bail was $135k even at 10% with a bondsman that’s $13.5k. Maybe I’m just too poor to understand 🙃
