The Court of Appeals has delayed oral argument in this case in order to allow a city the opportunity to file a brief. The court has not yet announced a new date for oral argument.

Can anyone tell me how long the monthly meeting usually runs?
Hi my name is Louis , I was convicted by jury in 1993 for sex crimes against street prostitutes. During my trial , the police and the district attorney overcharged me with a multitude of sex violations under the California penal code 261 (a) (1) (7) and others. With that said, the district attorney and the investigating detective brought other prostitutes to testify against me with which all were in custody to testify against me ,people I never saw in my life. Unfortunately , I was convicted for 261 on one prostitute and 220 on another for whom I never seen in my life. Since then, I been trying to do what ever I could to forget about my past and move forward ,which has been very difficult for me. Because of the label of being a sex offender and the registration requirements every year for the rest of my life, and the sigma that comes with Megan’s law requirements , this has been very punitive for me at best. I give thanks to God and my wife for supporting me through these very difficult times .
Post conviction , I was able to become a state license contractor for a trade of which I learned during my incarceration . Meanwhile, during the first five years of being a license contractor all was looking so well for me . It was not until I wanted to switch my licence into a corporation license to include my wife and kids , the state Licence board wanted to revoke my license all together. Once again, the label of being a sex offender and being in an administrative court room ,fighting for my livelihood, brought it all back to 1993. The Attorneys General office recounted those past events and made every effort to make me look like a really bad man. For this reason , I was able to testify in my behalf and so did my wife . As a result, with all the court proceeding and testimony during the trial , a month later the judge ruled in my favor. She stipulated in her ruling that I was a good man and not a public risk and my conviction was not substantially related to the contracting trade . One year later, I applied for a Certificate of Rehabilitation for the offences I was convicted, and the judge granted me the rehabilitation certificate. I thought by receiving the Certificate of Rehabilitation , I would be able to get all my rights back stop my registration and the internet notification;however, unbeknownst to me that was not the case. If it was not for those subsection parentheses (a) & (1) for which I was convicted ,all my rights could have been restored. For now, my application for a pardon is actively in the Governors public affairs office waiting review from the Governor.
P.s. is there anything I could do in the mean time to stop my registration and internet notification . The registration and the Megan law requirement is an absolute punitive detriment for me and my family . My kids continue to suffer and with a grand child on the way he will suffer too. My debt to society was paid why do I have to continue suffering for my past youthful transgressions?
I’m curious if the meeting tomorrow will be recorded as other meetings have been. I’m in northern California and unable to attend
