FORT BRAGG, N.C., — A military judge on Thursday morning reprimanded Brig. Gen. Jeffrey A. Sinclair for mistreating his mistress and other charges, but did not sentence him to any jail time and allowed him to remain in the military.

General Sinclair was also ordered to forfeit $5,000 a month in pay for four months, but will be allowed to keep his pension and other benefits. Full Article

As a young and naive recruit in the armed forces of the US, one of the the first things I learned was “Rank Has It’s Privileges”.

And crime pays….taxpayers gotta pay that public service failure crook crime waste of taxpayers money.

After reading this article about the LAPD officer busted for DUI … and not just a simple “get pulled over DUI” … but a bad one!! I can’t help but believe he will get the same type of “gloves” that the general got! Close to nothing for the offense … It’s sooooo not right! Wonder if any of the ‘plea deal’ the general made will turn around 10 years from now and bite him in the ass …. I hope so! Retroactive … If not good for everyone – it should not be good for anyone!
