It’s sad to see that most people are FOR a registry for murderers and some point out they already exist.
What people don’t understand is how any official list means people assume the government has it because those people are determined to still be a danger even though they may not be. These lists also allow businesses and housing opportunities to legally discriminate against them, both for employment and services, even if local laws protect felons after a certain number of years. These lists remove some people’s second chances in life, which you would think is a liberty that is a tradition in a country that claims to be “under God”.
These lists destroy and shame entire families and hurt attempts at rehabilitation.
If someone guilty of any crime, after getting help, still commits those crimes multiple times then the government should keep them locked up or heavily monitored and not just put on some list to make it the public’s job to monitor, shame, and police them.
That’s what I’ve been saying! Since the registry is about “safety”
Another post headline could read:…….but no DUI registry. Why not.?
DUI auto accidents leading cause of injury & death of minors. Where’s the ‘prevent’ bs scheme two face phonies with that DUI registry.?
That’s the leading danger to safety & life. You sham lame weak mule phonies.
One Reedit user nails it:
“You must have some sort of retarded death wish if you choose to harass murderers because you’re bored on the internet.”
