Again, more laws that serve no purpose other than to allow the grandstanding of obscure legislators either trying to establish a respectable record for his reelection campaign or to cover other, less than ethical activity.
The inconsistency of the process of law is very demeaning as it induces a certain group of persons as second class citizens.
Again, this is evidence that people make the registry cruel and unjust.
i wonder if there has been a single instance of a crime by a RC in the circumstances that the Virginia is designed to prevent. The Halloween hysteria was fueled by not one single documented case of a Halloween assault by an RC. Unreal.
VA is using the idea that the person needs to be aware of the law(s) and not ignorant of it based upon SCOTUS ruling saying the person has to be aware of the law (even though LEO/A don’t when they try to enforce them unknowingly). This is the caveat all legislatures use.
