FL: Man accused of trying to kill sex offenders in Kissimmee

[UPDATED LINKS 5/7/18] [wesh.com 5/4/18]

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. —

Police said a man was locked up after he was accused of trying to kill sex offenders.

Officers said he tried to set the men on fire.

Jorge Porto-Sierra has been formally charged with four counts of attempted premeditated murder.

Osceola County detectives said the 50-year-old confessed to deputies he tried to kill multiple people at the Friendly Village Inn on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.

After his March 7 arrest, Porto-Sierra said he arrived at the motel to “barbecue all the child molesters on fire and kill them.”

WESH 2 News confirmed at least two of the four victims are convicted sexual offenders.

Witnesses told deputies Porto-Sierra made several threats, screaming, “I’m going to kill you, child molester,” and allegedly began throwing gasoline on their front door.

this is a motel where the state directs people leaving prison to go when leaving prison when they don’t have an approved home.

I’m sorry but I always find stories like these comical in that these idiots dont feel the same way about people who actually have killed others, or done anything else to a minor. Beat them or starve them to death, etc. thats not too bad and you can go on with your life, but be accused of a sexual act with one? Well now, you’re truly evil!

I know the DA wont ask the question to this guy, but someone needs to get him to say on record how he knew they were sex offenders and how he knew where to find them….we all know the answer, but having something (especially transcribed in a court setting) could really help us vs the registry in a future court hearing like scotus.

Remember: This is no different than renewing your membership at Price Club, right? Not punishment; just monitoring. Nothing unconstitutional at all. Nothing to see here folks. Just move along.
