Southern Baptists divided over politics, race, LGBTQ policy

[fox13memphis.com – 2/20/21]

Divisions over race, politics, gender and LGBTQ issues are roiling America’s largest Protestant denomination, the Southern Baptist Convention, ahead of a meeting of its executive committee next week.

The most recent disfellowship of an SBC church occurred a year ago when the executive committee ousted Ranchland Heights Baptist Church of Midland, Texas, because it employed a registered sex offender as pastor.

Let the SBC exclude whoever it wants. If they can’t sustain themselves because or their exclusions, that’s their problem. Doesn’t sound like a member church receives much from them, apart from iron-fisted dictatorship, in return for the dues paid by local churches anyway. (Disclaimer: I’m not a church-goer, so my supposition could be wrong)

Talk about worldly minded divisions in these sensitive issues, moral issues, or do we all have issues. So what about enticing issues. Sure the SBC can raise a lot of questions and concerns even with spirit/and or spiritual issues of a biblical nature.

When it seems to come to church issues are we all evil in many ways. Are many actually Christian. One wonders who strives at entrapping who in this human behavior epic of a pride and prejudice moral. Some of the most volatile topics for a church conference should be understood. Even women preachers and I’m sure MacAuthur would have a lot to say about that. Even Jerry Farwell in my area would have something to say but what about the sex offender. Guess their are to many busybodies today in many types of divisions.

Are we all not carnal or who’s giving a sermon to the eunuch’s of government issues today or is a conference to expel those types of divisions. I’m sure if one breaks one commandment than they have broken them all as in many of these entrapment type conflict ordeal or who is tempting who.
