ACSOL In-Person Meeting November 4, 2023 in Berkeley, CA

ACSOL will lead an in-person meeting in Berkeley on Saturday, November 4, starting at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at:

The Finnish Hall
1970 Chestnut Street
Berkeley, CA

The meeting will include discussions regarding topics of interest to both registrants and their loved ones, including the status of proposed changes to the Tiered Registry Law such as the reduction of tier assignment for those convicted of an offense involving child pornography. The meeting is free and will include refreshments.

Attendance at the meeting is limited to registrants, their loved ones and those who support them. No government officials are allowed to attend the meetings.

“We are pleased to return to Berkeley for our first in-person meeting there in four years,” stated ACSOL Executive Director Janice Bellucci. “Finnish Hall is a great location for our meeting due to its proximity to BART.”

There is no sign up for the meeting, but attendees who drive there are encouraged to arrive early due to limited parking.

The in-person meetings will not be recorded. They will not replace the monthly Zoom meetings, which go into more detail on the issues.

Y A Y ! Were there, open to even homeless and other RC’s and their fams. Great little place up and out of the way of issue people, Frank used to always be outside to filter and direct.
Glad were back so many people even from Elk Grove! Enjoyed each and informed every time, parking is in neighbor hood as church has other events and P/L is usually sometimes taken but worth walking down the Berkeley streets! Thanks, let’s pass that hat around again Treasurer!

Janice, Sherry, Frank, ROGER, and so many regulars including Board Mbrs and Michael.

Thanks JB and Friends for getting this hall rental again, it’s been a bit!

SF Bay Area, this is YOUR CUE

So glad the in person is Back! The first time I came I was very nervous and parked several blocks away. I didn’t know if there were lurkers wanting to pop a PFR or what. Once I got inside and started to hear the stories and issues then I felt quite at home. I attended a couple more until CoVid and the dreaded Zoom. Always so nice to meet people who are part of this organization and put a face to the names. Loved meeting Janice. This will be the first time coming as an ex PFR.
