There is good news to report. A contract has been signed for the one-day conference in Washington, D.C., to be held on Sunday, March 2. The conference will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.
The conference location is the Holiday Inn National Airport, 2650 Richmond Highway, in Arlington, Virginia. A shuttle bus between the hotel and National Airport is available at no cost.
Room rates for the hotel vary depending upon the type of room and when it is booked. Currently there are rooms available at the hotel between $100 and $130 per night plus taxes.
A vigil will be held on Monday, March 3, near the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court starting at 11 a.m. The purpose of the vigil is to educate the U.S. Supreme Court of the significant harm to registrants and their families after the Court issued the decision, Smith v. Doe, in March 2003. This is the third annual vigil to be held for this purpose.
