FL: Florida AG Charges Registered Child Sexual Predator with Voter Fraud

A convicted felon and registered child sexual predator was charged with voter fraud in Florida by the Attorney General.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier’s Office of Statewide Prosecution is charging Gerald ______, a convicted felon and registered sexual offender, with voter fraud. Gerald was charged with multiple counts of unqualified elector knowingly voting in the 2024 Presidential Preference Primary, 2024 Primary Election, and the 2024 General Election in Putnam County.

“We must protect the sanctity and integrity of our republican form of government,” said Attorney General James Uthmeier. “This convicted felon, who is also a registered child sex offender, attempted multiple times to register to vote. After acknowledging twice that he wasn’t eligible, he lied on a subsequent voter registration application to participate in the 2024 election cycle unlawfully. Our Statewide Prosecutors will ensure he is held accountable. I would like to thank Secretary Cord Byrd and Brad McVey for their dedication to Florida’s election integrity efforts.”

In November 2024, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement received a complaint about Gerald from the Florida Department of State, Office of Election Crimes and Security.

According to the complaint, Gerald knowingly participated in the three 2024 elections as a convicted felon without his rights restored. Gerald was convicted in 1999 of attempted lewd or lascivious assault upon a child in St. Johns County. As of March 2025, Gerald was still registered as a sex offender, according to the Florida AG.

A nothingburger. No actual fraud was committed. They’re charging him with wanting to cast a personal vote. Something he’s within his rights to do federally and in many states. Same BS as missing your PO appointment because the bus was late counting as “recidivism”

Depending on who you ask, this gent’s action could be categorized as a repeat sex offense given his PFR status or for those who keep tight track of actions, they won’t be because they aren’t.

Why does his label have anything to do with his “alleged” voting fraud? There is no correlation, so why even mentioned? And show me where in the federal constitution where he is not allowed to vote because of his label and because of committing an offense?
