We live in a society based on English common law that only those who commit crimes are punished. This woman is being punished for her former boyfriend’s past criminal conduct. She was under no obligation to report that a former boyfriend had a criminal conviction. How do they expect her to report something if she is under no duty to report something and isn’t even aware of the concern? How many other teachers have husbands, brothers, fathers and others with a criminal conviction. I would bet a lot. This is just another example of the “sex offense exception” to British common law and common sense.

Oh my God! So she was fired for having a relationship with a pfr, that was still in prison!! This is beyond belief! And their whole reasoning is, because she never told them! But there’s no reason to disclose it! I hope she sues the crap out of these people!

This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. Basically firing the woman because her ex from 7 years ago is a registrant? Give me a f****** break!

Here’s another example of pettiness, spite and “get even” mentality that humans have:: :

Different situation, but same intent.

A person can have a relationship with whomever and it shouldn’t be reported to the school or government. It’s just like a PA woman being arrested and convicted of bringing three children where a PFR was located.

The state should not have its nose in the private lives of its teachers, or any employees.

Watch, soon this will catch on in the USA and states will start requiring associates and PFRs to inform employers, schools, and law enforcement of relationships of PFRs. Don’t be surprised if law enforcement will now require a PFRs, when registering, to list all relationships. Let’s see, Florida is likely to be the first….after all, it is all about protecting the children.

I didn’t realize sex offense was recognized as a communicable disease……🤣
