Source: kolotv.com 12/31/25 SILVER SPRINGS, Nev. (KOLO) – An unregistered sex offender died while being transported to jail on Wednesday, Dec. 31, according to a Lyon County Sheriff’s Facebook post. The Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Task Force responded to a Dayton area home following an anonymous tip about a sex offender who had failed to register as required by law.
