Men are not monsters

[foxnews.com (!)]

Last week three of my four boys were herded into school-sponsored assemblies and asked to stand, raise their hands and pledge to never, ever hurt a woman. While their female classmates remained seated, my boys faced intense pressure to say:

I promise

To never ever

Hit, hurt, or otherwise harm

A woman, girl, or child.

I understand

That I am bigger and stronger

Than many women, girls, and children.

Therefore it is my DUTY

To NEVER HARM them,

Protect, Respect, Honor, and Love them

No matter what.

Aghast, my 17-year-old son walked out. Less than two hours later, he went to choir practice, where he and his classmates practiced a parody of “Cell Block Tango” from the musical “Chicago” that features the “six merry murderesses of Cook County Jail” singing about killing their lovers. Here’s one verse:

Shocking, a FoxNews article that actually acknowledges the war on men!

Well, lets just say this for the record. Women are just as bad as women, but they just seem to do it in a more mundane way. If you hear of a woman hitting a man, you probably say, he deserved it. Yet, if a man hits a woman? I typically don’t like to bash other sexes, but I’ve noticed something recently. There isn’t a week that goes by where you don’t see a female school teacher arrested for having sexual relations with an underage child? No offense, but lets be real. These are people of authority who clearly have crossed the line. So, I think society needs to wake up. As I get older, I look at people in general differently. I recently came across a few provocative websites: You can go onto sites like city vibe (prostitution) and its women selling sex? Yet, why isn’t anything happening about this? There are webcam adult sites where some of the things the women are doing is beyond comprehension? Why is this allowed? Women want to be respected, but yet? So, it goes both ways. I love women, but there are certainly good and bad people everywhere.
