Action Alert: ACSOL Organizing State Capitol Meetings (February 5)

The Alliance for Constitutional Sex Offense Laws (ACSOL) is organizing meetings in the State Capitol with newly elected members of the Assembly and Senate in Sacramento on Tuesday, February 5.

Training for the meetings will be held at the ACSOL offices located at 1215 K Street, 17th Floor, starting at 9 a.m.

“Registrants, family members and supporters are encouraged to join ACSOL in these meetings,” stated ACSOL Executive Director Janice Bellucci.  “The meetings are a unique opportunity to educate elected officials and their staff about the facts regarding registrants including their low level of re-offending.”

Meetings with elected officials and their staff will be scheduled in advance by ACSOL.  Participants will be divided into teams of at least three people, including a registrant, family member and supporter such as an attorney or psychologist.

“I learned a lot and felt empowered after participating in similar meetings last year,” stated a registrant.  “I highly recommend that others join me in Sacramento this year.”

Please sign up to participate in the meetings by contacting at service@all4consolaws.org

Awesome! Thank you Janice and Chance and anyone else involved with this. I believe there will be some just in the road ahead this year.

For those flying to Sacramento…will this just be one day on Tuesday, February 5th?

I certainly plan to be attendance.
I’m looking forward to it being a positive and productive day! 👍

Just wondering if anyone is interested In a car pool from San Diego? I suppose that would have to be a two day event if done by car, otherwise it would be a very long day.
