The Alliance for Constitutional Sex Offense Law (ACSOL) and the registrant community is the focus of a newly published book by ACSOL Executive Director Janice Bellucci. The book, Show Up – Stand Up – Speak, offers insights and identifies trends in the registrant community.
“The purpose of the book is to educate the public regarding the daily challenges faced by registrants and their loved ones,” stated Bellucci. “We believe that once the public fully understands that the registry is punishment, the public will demand that the registry be abolished.”
The book Show Up – Stand Up – Speak Up is available on Amazon in both print and electronic forms. All profits from the book will flow to ACSOL so that it can continue its mission to protect the Constitution by restoring the civil rights of registrants.
I highly recommend this book.
One of my favorite parts is the preface, which describes what motivated Janice to fight for us and the principles she uses to defend us.
The Janice’s Journal chapters reminded me what issues we have fought for and against during the past few years. Remembering how far we have come encourages me to continue the fight for current and future issues.
GREAT read. It takes you through the journey of where we’ve been, and where we may be going.
Thank you, Janice, for having the fortitude to say what needs to be said. This should be required reading for ALL of those involved in making policy decisions.
Got mine from Amazon two days ago. The preface is great… The motivation required for a life-shift by a talented attorney into an entirely new area of law. Also, the short chapters and back stories set up each “issue” and gets right to the point. That the registry is punishment is a given, but thanks to Janet / Chance and the team for making CA a lot more livable than other places like FL.
Well worth the purchase.
Got mine from Amazon the other day , I’m going to have my dad read it and then my brothers gonna read it, Love the book well written , thanks Janice
While I have not read Janices book I’m sure her goal is to eliminate the registry as much as possible and I’m sure many on here are wanting the same but is everyone being a bit rash and callous in this subtle inroad adjustment by these unjust means and measures. I mean look around you at this self -centered effort that effects many with this intent. While all this registry is a means of preventing something from happening what does it prevent. Is this a measure of domination, a preventive effort, or a means to justify these actions.
One wonders if we should all judge actions of others such as this state capital riot encounter of insiteing.
Should authorities give opportunities via a computer to prevent? Authorities have their right as anyone else. Are authorities doing these ordeals their way, or by their own means or are we all complaining about the method, the deception, the lying involved in these encounters.
Sure standing up for a just cause is good but look at the affair of this capital invasion that made national news by those that “think” trump got a raw deal in this past election. Sure one could put the blame on those that stormed the capital building or they can put the blame on another. Ethics plays a lot in all this type of behavior adjustment or should we all think about all this.
Chronological in order of read post Preface.
Enjoyed and reminded of all events clear back to IML in Oakland.

Pass it on to educate The Public to reduce fears and of course, ignorance.
Thanks Janice
I’ll order some more.
He’s right Amazon was super quick.
