WA: Officials back out of Tenino town hall on sex offender housing after threats

State officials backed out of a Tenino town hall about a planned sex offender housing facility due to safety concerns.

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office organized the town hall last week in response to public uproar over the planned facility at 2813 140th Ave. Southwest. Sheriff Derek Sanders notified the public of the state officials’ decision on Saturday.

“To say I’m infuriated and embarrassed is an understatement,” Sanders said in a Facebook post. “The public deserves to hear answers directly, and in a meaningful, engaging way, from their state government.”

Sanders said officials from the state Department of Social and Health Services and the Department of Corrections previously agreed to attend the meeting at Tenino High School. However, he received a new letter from the officials Friday night, and he shared it publicly on Facebook the next day.

“Regrettably, due to threats by individuals and other information circulating on social media, we will instead host a virtual, public webinar 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1,” the letter reads.

Action alert for Washington residents! Call and write!

So if they received threats then I’m sure the FBI will be on top of this and track down the source of the threats and there will be arrests shortly…right…right??

Well Gosh! I’m sorry sheriff. There’s no stopping an army of Karen’s when they get out of control!

You would like to hope they now understand what folks they have labeled live under on a daily basis. But they won’t. This is when our population needs to point it out to them.

Yet again, we have highly compelling evidence that:

A: Absolutely NOBODY believes this system does, or even can, prevent crime. If it does, or if it could, why would this be a problem? In fact, if this system were ANYTHING BUT a series of total fabrications, designed and maintained EXCLUSIVELY for political gain, this housing project would be an IDEAL situation. All the PFRs, all in one easily monitored location that everybody knows about. What about that does not SCREAM ideal? One cop drive by, equals how many compliance checks that everybody loves so much? How efficient! Alas, absolutely every single person in America is totally, and completely convinced that this system in no way stands the proverbial Snowball’s chance of ever actually preventing a single crime….anywhere…ever. well, not anywhere near them at least, maybe somewhere else…but never “here”….regardless of where “Here” is.

B: Any mention of PFRs automatically creates vigilante violence! In this case, it is just threats of violence directed towards the attendees of this proposed meeting, none of whom are PFRs…but doesn’t matter…kill them anyway! Yes, just the idea of having PFRs in their community produces death threats directed towards non-PFRs. However, displaying my name, address, photo, and conviction information until the day I die, in no way places my very life in daily jeopardy from these very same, murderous vigilante types? Oh and the lives of anyone cohabitating with me…also no danger…oh and my neighbor…the one that I do daily mail exchanges with because even the USPS letter carrier can’t tell her address from mine.

Everybody gets a chance to be the victim of registry facilitated vigilante violence! How fair, unbiased and totally necessary this all is….no matter how much violence it produces. Nobody gets to be safe from the vigilante violence our crime reduction, community safety system creates! Yep, this crime reduction system can get anyone…and kill them!

Interesting question….these vigilantes will not hunt these people down and make good on their threats if this plan goes through? They’ll all just shrug off having their demands ignored? They won’t, ever try to carry out their threats, maybe weeks, months or years from now, if their demands aren’t met?

Oh and if this plan is discarded, we can be sure that this decision will be in no way motivated by fear that these vigilantes will in fact try to carry out their threats at some point in the future? That’s right, America does not negotiate with violent criminals, and never gives into them…EVER! So, just carry on with the plan and hope that nobody kills you and/or your family members as a result!

Remember, no matter who gets killed, or how grizzly their death, they will immediately be considered, “Acceptable Losses”. Yep, doesn’t matter who gets murdered, how it happens, or why….never enough to change anything…no matter how many! All murders will always fall under the “Acceptable Losses” threshold….forever!

I live close to this area; I see it in the news every morning, but shortly after the story the same opposing group of Karens are trying to shut down a methadone clinic because it’s close proximity to a baseball field. They are attacking any little thing that rehabilitates.
