An aide/teacher?/employee of Desert Christian Academy sentenced for molestation. This school was created by the Runners, who pushed prop 83, Jessica’s Law. This employee of Desert Christian who committed the crimes was not stopped by Prop 83, since he was not a registrant. George Runner is now running for Board of Equalization and in his campaign statement mentions he authored Jessica’s Law for California, and seems to tout this as a good thing, the toughest sexual predator laws. It would be fitting if his opponent in the race for Board of Equalization came out against Runner for his bad laws and creating a false sense of security that allowed these molestations to occur.
It appears sex offenders are the skapegoats for anyone trying to get any new laws passed, or even moreso targets of the new laws. In Pasadena, massage parlors workers need to get accredited, and registered sex offenders are prohibited from getting the city license.
Prop 47, on the November Ballot excludes registered sex offenders from getting relief from being charged for a felony for stealing. So with Runners law that make it hard for ex-offenders to have a home/job, it makes it more likely they would steal food to survive. No relief from that being charged as a felony, as well as writing a bad check to buy food to survive. Then, there’s Chris Kellys attempts to kick sex offenders off the internet. This guy is behind all the states laws to stop ex-offenders from having free speech. Didn’t he travel to all Attornies Generals around the country pushing his cyber-fascism? This guy is so dishonest, but it looks like Pennsylvania caved in. Internet Identifier registration is not a violation of free speech, Pennsylvania court just found. Their statement, that it doesn’t prevent free speech because the information is not made public is naive. If a registrant uses anonymous internet speech to speak out against treatement by police, of course the registrant would stop this speech if they are required to report their identifier to the same police whose actions they are critical of.
I read a few months ago, Facebook in Menlo Park , California opened up its own police force. So couldn’t Facebook use their police force to get info on registrants internet identifiers. Knowing how manipulative Facebook is with user data, it would only be a matter of time for registrants to be booted off the internet or restricted to the point of stifling free speech.
I didn’t see any mention of sex trafficking in the Pennsylvania decision on internet identifiers/email. At least they are not that disingenuous.
So glad Kamala Harris said she is not interested in being US Attorney General, not that she would’nt make an excellent one, but if she was and left the office of California Attorney General, the next 2 candidates who ran for California Attorney General with the most votes, Chris Kelly being one of them, would have a runoff for the office. Did’nt Chris Kelly become part owner of the Sacramento Kings basketball team and also didn’t Chris Kelly promote the myth of sex trafficking at Pro Sports events? Now that Kelly is an owner of one of those teams, does he have more data on sex trafficking at Sports events? Or is he quiet on this since now he can see firsthand it was, except for the rare occurrence, just hype he latched onto in his war on free speech for ex-offenders?

Fight for freedom – Lifetime punishment is illegal!
Have a question about polygraphs. When I started my mandatory 52-week treatment program they had me sign several things. One document stating that they were estimating that my treatment would take an estimated 14-18 months. I’m guessing few ever get away with just doing 52 weeks…even for non-contact offenses like mine. The other form I signed related to polygraph examinations. The form asked me to make a choice from several options. I would be willing to answer any/all questions presented to me, not answer any questions, or choose only to answer questions that I felt didn’t violate my rights.
I have yet to take any polygraph associated with my actual treatment. The polygraph I did take was to show that investigators fabricated some pretty damaging “statements” to make their case a slam dunk. Made a plea deal pretty inviting.
Anyway…I don’t know what to expect when it comes time to the required polygraph. Are they allowed to ask me whatever they want? If I choose not to answer all their questions…does that send me back to jail? Should I ask for a list of the questions they are going to ask and run those by my attorney? I want to go into the polygraph knowing my rights. The last thing I want to do is answer questions they have no legal right to ask.

Putting free americans back in the conditions of parole is blatant disregard of civil rights and their oath to Constitution ..they are forcing people to register to lifetime conditions of parole ..the registered must be off registry for the extension of conditions they had and continue to propose.restrictions had already been within custody parole…they already had people in jail restricted from or kept from society ..they already were restricted from freedom where to go..where to live………..for their violations they must release people from registered listing.
I went back and rechecked and I got something wrong in my last post here. If Kamala Harris became US Attorney General, as Holder is vacating the office, there would be a runoff of the two next highest votegetters in the general election, which would be Steve Cooley , and Peter Green, not Chris Kelly and someone else. Chris Kelly came in 3rd in the democratic primary for 2010 California Attorney General election. So, instead of Chris Kelly and someone else having a runoff election, it would be Steve Cooley and Peter Green in the runoff, if they both were still interested in running. So things would not be that dire, unless one of those two shared Kelly’s blatent hatred of, and disregard for the civil liberties of, ex-offenders. Even not in elected office, looks like Chris Kelly throws his money around to try to destroy the lives of ex-offenders as he has stated he has put aside a fund used for what amounts to this purpose, and spent 2 million+ on and was the primary financial backer of Prop 35 in California.

Well today is my Birthday. I was awakened by my phone at 8:30am by an unknown cell phone number. I turned on my outside camera (with a view outside of my locked tall front gate) to find a detective in an unmarked vehicle across the street. I did not answer his call or open my door. How dare he show up on my actual Birthday to harass or remind me that it’s time to re-register. I already had my appointment for next week to re-register. Without the hope Janice brings to us Registered Citizens, I would no want to live through another birthday.

I got it wrong twice, you got it right. But there’s more that needs clarifying, as I have now gone back yet again and checked with someone different. If Kamala Harris is nominated by Obama before Nov.4th election, which we both agree would be a snafu given Obama’s comments, and she accepts the nomination, which she says she is not doing, then the election on Nov 4 will proceed with the top 2 votegetters of the June 2014 primary, excluding Harris this would be Ron Gold and the 3rd place person in the primary. The electoral system in California has changed since 2010 election in that there is no democratic primary just a general primary for California Atty General, where the top 2 go to a runoff. The Presidential election still has a Democratic and Republican primary. If Harris becomes US Atty General before Nov 4, 2014, then the election of Nov .4 will be a runoff of Ron Gold and the next highest votegetter from June, 2014 primary. But if Holder leaves office after the Nov 4 , 2014 election, and Kamala Harris becomes the new US Atty General, then it will be a new election,where anyone, including Kelly, can run in this new election, which could/would lead to a runoff election, as you stated. Scary stuff when peoples’ rights are on the line from a rich guy on a cyber-fascistic mission. Hopefully, this new requirement to register with on-line educational institutes is not going to be tried as a foot in the door to a registrant requirement to report internet identifiers, as ‘sex trafficking’ is. Since on its face, it appears to make no sense other than that reason.

Personally I can’t stand these shows, but my favorite part of this article was this:”TLC has cancelled the series HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately. Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority.”
If they truly were concerned with the health and welfare of those children, they wouldn’t have exploited their unhealthy eating habits for profit, nor financially rewarding the child’s self-centered attitude. Not to mention the exploitive nature of beauty pageants in general.
Sure they look altruistic by offering the kids therapy, but it’s not therapy for what TLC has done to the family, but because they may have interacted with a sex offender. I didn’t realize that I was so infectious.
Moral of the story; if you have money and violate a family, pay for their therapy and all will be well.

It is stories like the one above and countless others that kill any hope or optimism that ANYTHING is going to change to convicted/register SEX offenders. All they have to say is that we should be LUCKY to be allowed ANY freedom or liberties AT ALL…and people will agree.
Do you really think the majority of BROKE Americans are going to have any sympathy that our ability to travel internationally is gone…NO! If anything they figure since they can’t afford to do why should a bunch a pervs like us be able to.

Well, it was that time of the year for me, so I spent far more time this morning than was necessary, hanging out at my local sheriff’s station. A new detective has been assigned to the task, and I’d like to provide a few disturbing notes:
1) Earlier this month, I purchased a new vehicle. The same day of that purchase (within 3 hours of leaving the car lot), I called and left a voicemail on the detective’s phone line. Included in this voice mail was a detailed description of the vehicle, as well as the VIN number. Also, since my birthday was fast approaching, I made a request to schedule my annual update. I received no reply call.
2) 4 days after that initial phone call, I left another voice mail with the detective, following up to my previous request. No reply was ever received.
3) 5 days after my follow up call, I tried him again. This time, he managed to answer, and I was able to schedule my update.
4) This morning, I arrived 10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. Ahead of me was another registered citizen (RC), and I overheard something very disturbing. Apparently, this particular RC is registered as a transient, and the detective was questioning the RC in an attempt to prove (or disprove) that the RC is, in fact, a transient. The detective made a statement, which caused my blood to boil: “If you’re a transient, then why does your cell phone location keep showing up in XXX city?” This immediately caused concern. Now, I’m not familiar with this RC, or the circumstances of his case, but I’ll assume for a minute that he’s not on probation or parole. I’ll also assume that this RC is not subject to any sort of GPS monitoring (otherwise, tracking his phone would be pointless). Therefore, this detective has shown his hand, and is admittedly using whatever loose laws there are surrounding cell phone location data to track his registrants. Apparently, even those RC’s who are NOT subject to any sort of monitoring! This is scary as hell!
5) Once my turn came around, the detective asked me if I had any changes, and I told him that I needed to add a vehicle to my registration. This prompted a round of arrogant questioning from him. When I pointed out that I called him 3 hours after the purchase, and then again only 4 days later, he said, “Well, if you can’t get a hold of me, then you need to come in!”. Excuse me? So I then asked what his office hours are. He responded that he doesn’t have any, and that he’s constantly coming and going. So let me get this straight: he’s unwilling to return phone calls, and expects the RC to come in for an in-person update, without any appointment, and without any guarantee that the detective may or may not be there? How exactly does this work? Is he expecting me to camp out in the lobby until such time and day that he’s available to see me?
Now, I understand that some will argue that the purchase of new vehicle does not trigger an update. That’s fine! But what if this were a triggering event? What a RC moved, or changed his/her name? Are we now expected to sit in the lobby for an indefinite period of time until the detective is available? That’s just asinine!
So there’s my notes from today. Our cell phone data is being used to track us (even if we are not subject to monitoring), and we have nothing better to do but sit around waiting for a detective to make himself available. GREAT!
