OR: ‘Incorrigible’ public masturbator shouldn’t be locked up for life, Supreme Court says

The Oregon Supreme Court on Thursday for the first time reversed a life prison sentence for an unstoppable public masturbator — saying Oregon’s three-strikes-you’re-out law for repeat sex offenders isn’t always constitutional. Full Article

Oregon is the most supportive for RCs. As soon as my wife gets her schooling done we will be moving there. I suggest all RCs should move there to help keep out the California Hysteria moms,

I live in Crescent City, just 20 miles from the Oregon border. My plan may just be to also move up to Oregon, soon. I just started a shuttle bus RV conversion project. Looking at living rent-free urban camping style. I have no where else i’m rooted and I do want to stay near the coast if possible. I’m going to be spending a lot of time researching Oregon soon. If you want my email, it’s

@Nicholas, I’ve been thinking of doing something similar (living in a converted bus or RV, complete with solar power), but how would you register? As transient?

Which brings me to another question I’ve been pondering for quite some time: what if I wanted to live in an RV as a perpetual traveler, not staying anywhere long enough to require registration? It seems there’s no legal provision for that, which I think is yet another example of how non-free we really are.

Harry, one downside I see to Oregon is that they appear to have lifetime registration for all RSOs, regardless of tier level (if I’m not mistaken). But it still might be worth it if they consider you tier 1 since you wouldn’t be public. I’m in NV currently, tier 1, but if the AWA is enacted here, I’d be bumped up to 2, in which case I’d consider Oregon.

Tired of this, a goal is to get the State saturated with RCs/families to influence the politics and get rid of the requirement. 800,000 plus can change the landscape better in Oregon than California/Nevada. Have a nice day and better tomorrow.

Whooa….a lifetime sentence for a serial masturbator on the lose in Oregon!
Judge: You just did your last stroke……3 strokes you’re out!

And best not to bring up the mental stuff in case Oregon decided to copy 20 other states that do civil commitment of sex offenders and they won’t let you go until a shrink decides you’re cured which could mean a looooong time.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
