The Assembly’s Public Safety Committee today permanently stopped Assembly Bill (AB) 884. The Committee, in a vote of 3 to 4, defeated AB 884 a second time. The bill was originally denied passage in April 2019, however, the same Committee granted the bill reconsideration in order to allow the bill to be modified.
