1. The 26 Schengen Nations (which allow registrants to visit)
As an agreement, Schengen was signed among the five out of ten countries of the European Union members back then, on the 14th June 1985. Under the Schengen agreement, travelling from one Schengen country to another is done without any passport and immigration controls or any other formalities previously required.

Hey, I just renewed my expired passport that I had before my conviction and it recently came in the mail without any mark. I plan to take a trip this summer and actually already bought a ticket to France. Is there a chance it will be revoked before my upcoming trip or only after? Since I just paid for it do I have to pay for a new one when it is revoked or is it free since it is their mistake not mine? I shouldn’t have to pay for an omission on their part. Thanks

Update
My travel to Thailand.
Hi all,
Was wondering if anybody has been successful in moving to Europe for retirement? I see people on here moving to Europe for work and living there, but what if you just want to retire? We’d love to move to Portugal but not sure about the criminal background check requirement for long term residence? Wonder if a spouse can get residency first and then marry and bring the spouse with the RO background to join later? do you have to pass a background check for marriage to move to Europe?
Has anybody ever heard of anybody successful at this?
