ACSOL Leader Frank Lindsay on Life Support

ACSOL leader Frank Lindsay has been placed on life support after being diagnosed with COVID.  He was hospitalized on Tuesday after complaining that he was experiencing trouble breathing.

“Please include Frank and his family in your thoughts and prayers,” asked ACSOL Executive Director Janice Bellucci.  “It is possible although unlikely that Frank will recover.”

Frank is author of the book, “We’re All in This Together,” which inspired the creation of ACSOL more than 12 years ago.  Frank has befriended many people in the registrant community and provided assistance to them on a regular basis.

Frank was convicted of a sex offense in 1979 in California.  He has no prior or subsequent convictions of any kind.  Frank filed a petition for removal from the registry in January 2022, but the court reject his petition because the CA Department of Justice failed to assign him to a tier.

I will pray for Frank Lindsay’s recovery. May he live to see himself free from the Registry.

I resonate Bill’s statement – will be praying for him and his family! It is always a pleasure to see him on the in-person meeting we had in the past. Always smiling and challenging us to keep moving.

This is really sad to hear. A man that has faught so long and so hard for freedom from the registry. To become ill with covid. He will be in my prayers for a full recovery.

I am so sorry to hear this.

Praying for Frank, his family, and the medical team treating him. Frank is a fighter. Time to win another battle, dear friend.

Praying for Frank and his family. He’s an inspiration for all.

This is devastating and heartbreaking. I met him in Sacramento when we were lobbying for the three tier law. What a truly wonderful man. I will send loving, caring thoughts his way. Some people deserve a miracle, I will pray he gets his. 🙏❤

Prayers for a full recovery! We need you Frank Lindsay!

I am so sorry to hear about Frank. I hope and pray that he recovers. Sending love and prayers…

Speedy recovery, Frank

We found this out yesterday and n complete shock. Frank first off provided my spouse so much kindness and support. We met him first in SD at our first ACSOL meeting back in 2016. He hugged us. No questions, just a warm, strong embrace. He signed his book for us at the conference and would shares stories with us. Like my spouse, they both have been trapped on this deplorable hit list for over 33 years! This breaks my heart immensely!! I hate everything about Covid!! I cannot pray enough for Frank and his precious family. He deserves better. I know it’s bleak, but I am a strong believer in faith and miracles. My heart breaks for you too Janice. I know without Frank and Janice, we would all be stuck in this hateful list. We keep his sticker of a young Frank “We are all in this together” on our bedroom wall. It is a reminder the strength and resilience that this man took by divulging his private story to Janice many years ago, this starting ACSOL. This is not goodbye Frank! We love you and we pray constantly for you!!
please everyone!! Step up for Frank and his family!!!

Such sad news. I’ve met Frank a few times and was inspired by his kind spirit. We’ll pray for him and hope that he can live to see some relief from the registry punishment.

Frank is a good man and has been an inspiration to many including myself. I will be praying for a recovery for Frank. Keep us posted.

OMG – That is horrible. I will keep him in my thoughts. Thanks for letting us know, but please don’t give up hope. It is possible to recover. He is the reason there is hope for all of us dealing with the registry.

My family and I will keep Frank and his family in our prayers .

Frank and his family are in my prayers. I send them love and light so that they can find their way to the best outcome possible.

My family and friends are all praying and pulling for Frank. He inspired something that has ramifications that will impact thousands and more.

Personally, he spoke with me and was willing to show that life can improve. God bless and keep fighting.

Knowing how much history Janice and Frank have shared through this journey which began over a clogged sink…my heart goes out to Janice and all of ACSOL….know that we are all in this together and praying for Frank.

My prayers are with Frank and his family..wishing him a quick recovery

Praying for Frank right now.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Frank and his family at this sad time.

Ask and it will be given…
I”m asking and praying for Frank’s speedy recovery.

It’s not fair or right; over 40 years and it might end like this because the government is in way over its head. It shouldn’t end for him or others like this. I wish him and his family the best.

I’m so sorry to hear this. Our thoughts and prayers are with Frank and his family. I hope he’s recovering. This is grave news. He has been so instrumental in thrusting this issue forward, with the help of Janice, for all Californians.

43 years later and he hasn’t got a tier yet? Whatever happened to FIFO (first in, first out) in the process? CA DOJ should be ashamed.

If Frank passes before he gets one, light the torches and pass the pitch forks (figuratively) and light up the court system to get the system moving on the process.

Stay strong, Frank. We’re pulling for you.
