SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Nathan Fletcher has announced that he is resigning from the San Diego County Board of Supervisors after a lawsuit was filed by a former MTS employee who accused him of sexually harassing and assaulting her.

The lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday by 34-year-old Grecia Figueroa, claims Fletcher stalked her on social media and sexually touched her without consent on multiple occasions, which Fletcher has denied.

😳🤣🤣🤣 Hmmmm, plenty of room on the California Registry for Mr. (Gonzalez-)Fletcher!!
Welcome aboard, Nathan! 😝
(PS.: Your Registry invitation includes a plus one, so please be sure to bring your wife with you!!🤗)

Those who beat the drums the loudest against Persons Forced to Register usually do so to drown out their own demons! Just sayin’!

Can someone explain why no criminal charges were filed? He and his wife made many of our lives a living hell. He made his career off of the Chelsea King murder amd we paid the price.

Oh no, anyways.

Add another point to the pamphlet: the person who stopped a better 290 bill now may have her family dragged into this. The irony is palpable.

I hope he is given the same legal protections and presumption of innocence that everyone on the registry was afforded! Welcome to the fast train to 290, Nathan. Would like to be there with you and your wife when you have your first compliance check.

My gut instinct response is that I’d like to go protest outside his home with a sign that reads “Sex Offenders belong on the Registry“! 😠
I’d really like to give him and his Mrs. a taste of their own vitriol!!
Let the news media air that!! 😡

(Apologies, but following Florida’s desire to make red-letter Drivers Licenses for Registrants, I can’t help but feel extreme hatred toward these vile hypocrites!)

Come on guys! You can’t have it both ways. These are only allegations, and you know how much we talk on this forum about allegations potentially being wrong. We even still have people questioning what really went down between Brock Turner & his victim. I know Nate Fletcher is a blob of spit, and we hate the guy. But we have to wait for more investigation and facts to play out before making judgements on him. I know it’s tempting, but even aswipes are entitled to fair justice

Does the decision to step down convey any sense of factual guilt? If not, why do it?
However if we ( or he) were to acknowledge ” a fair trial” wasn’t possible in such a case, then perhaps, the concession is forced but reasonable. Not by factual guilt, rather by the self imposed social construct of peer pressure. (environment)
* Let me find that link to Judge Matsch’s public notice about college campus sex assault processes for the accused and accusers.

But wait – there’s more!!
A 2nd accuser!:

NBC San Diego: Second Woman Accuses Nathan Fletcher of Improper Behavior

🙄😒

I’m shocked by the attitude of people on this thread. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m sure many pfr’s are in the position they are in based on bogus accusations, or someone claiming it wasn’t consensual when it was consensual. You can’t say we demand to hear more evidence because we can’t always trust what accuser says, EXCEPT, in the case of “this guy” who we hate so much. It just doesn’t work like that folks. It’s called hypocrisy, and there’s nothing worst than a hypocrite in my book.

What exactly did this man do that’s so bad? Why do you guys hate him so much? Educate me. I’m not from California

Blast from the past: I remember the Chelsea King murder by a registered sex offender which happened in then-California assemblyman Nathan Fletcher’s district, so he was the political point man for the entire debacle, introducing a whole slew of restrictions in the legislature, and culminating with his rise as a San Diego powerhouse politician.

Here is Chelsea’s parents endorsing him for mayor in 2011:

NOW: Having said that, I am waiting for all the facts to come out with Fletcher. Keep in mind that many accusations of this nature are he said-she said, and the believability and lately, more important, the political persuasion of the accused and accusers play an important part. Having said that, it is now likely that Fletcher will have a front-row seat into the potential implications of him being on California’s lifetime registry.
