Escalate it to the point of loud bullhorns blasting the neighbor who has the sign in their yard with horn sounds from sunrise to sunset in expressing your 1A right in return.
Another NIMBY. The guy was convicted 23 yrs ago and legal to be living there.
How did this guy know his neighbor is a registrant? Did he use the registry to do this? Did someone tell him about it that got the info from the registry? Which means this guy is harassing the registrant, which I thought was against the law and now is conducting public humiliation, which is a punitive act.
Time to set up spotlights on your property and make sure the neighbor gets plenty of daylight at night.
I believe it is the law in most if not all states that honking your horn for any other reason to warn a pedestrian or other driver is illegal.

More ammunition against the registry. This neighbor should immediately take steps to protect themselves from the potential for further escalation from the neighbor or random people wishing to enact violence against them.
This is very disturbing, especially in light of the story about the man who was stabbed to death in California last week. The neighbor who posted the sign is certainly within his First Amendment constitutional rights. However, his sign is inviting some unstable person to take action against the registrant. When we all read the Scarlet Letter in school, I think we all thought public shaming was a thing of the past.
The government provoked this incitement to violence!
Not very smart on the neighbor’s part. I’m pretty sure he would have a very hard time dodging liability for every attack or act of vandalism on the registrant and his property (which I hope does not happen), should any occur and the registrant chose to pursue it which I really hope does).
This guy must have a sad, boring life to go out of his way to spend hundreds of dollars on a sign, take the time to put it up every day, and spend every waking moment focused on his neighbor. That registrant really does live rent free in his head lol.
He should put up a sign, ” If something happens to me I want this guy held responsible at 666 Daren Rd. Medina, Oh.”
I found it hypocritical for the guy to state that if the shoe was on the other foot and he were the person forced to register, he would not like the sign posted and would steal it. And yet, this guy has no qualms whatsoever about posting his sign against his neighbor.
