Prosecutors say a Lakemoor man created a homemade explosive device, which required the bomb squad to respond, and they believe he intended to blow up an alleged sex offender.

Joseph A. Savino, 43, of Lakemoor, was charged with one count of possession of an explosive or incendiary device, a Class 1 felony.

The Lakemoor Police Department responded on October 18 to the 31800 block of Darrell Road in Lakemoor for a report of a burglary.

Lake County Assistant State’s Attorney Michael Theis said a caretaker arrived at the home and found the back door open with miscellaneous items on the porch.

Officers located a plastic bag and a canvas bag hanging on the handle of the back door.

A note was left on the door frame that said, “I will ree pant if you want” and “there is a child molester right down the street look him up.” Savino’s inmate identification card was recovered at the scene, Theis said.

The door was open and inside the residence there was spray paint on the walls consisting of letters and artwork.

Officers took the bags back to the police department where an inventory search was performed.

Theis said an officer located a black bag inside a plastic bag that contained what was later determined to be a homemade explosive device.

The bomb squad was called to the department and they X-rayed the device and confirmed it could be detonated with a flame on the wick.

The X-ray showed there were nails in the device that would act as projectiles if the device were detonated, Theis said….

He’ll be locked up for a long time.

More of your government-incited violence!

Answer me this – Would this guy be trying to bomb a [person with a past sex offense] if the government didn’t incite him to?

Perhaps it is the government that is the public’s worst enemy!

If they can’t create laws that protect everybody equally, then they should not be creating laws at all!

MANY crimes are bad and that is why we had a justice system in place that applied equally for everyone. Commit a crime do the time, walk away free and clear to rebuild and do better!

This new-fangled registry BS is not helping society; it is DRASTICALLY INCREASING the crime rate for crimes that would not exist if not for this legislation!

The legislature is not protecting victims with SORA legislation, it IS creating new victims that would not otherwise exist!

Now we must ask ourselves, why would they do that?

Someone’s been squatting and people watching because the person is on the naughty list. Sounds like the wrong person is on the list because this mother trucker needs to be monitored.

It never ceases to amaze me with all of the people released with violent crimes/histories, people only seem to lash out at those on the registry. They’ll complain a PFR lives down the street but then exactly next door is a man with a manslaughter charge for murdering someone because they played their music too loud…….

Based on his egregious spelling errors, it was immediately apparent to all relevant parties involved that his schemes were doomed to fail. Ree pant. Hahahahaha.
