Police are cautioning the public against conducting private “stings” after a group of people posing as minors online allegedly tried to arrange an in-person meeting with a man in Teaneck.

 …

 Kriegel used the case to caution the public against conducting private “stings,” saying they can interfere with active investigations, compromise evidence and create legal complications that jeopardize prosecutions. The stings can also put suspects and bystanders at risk, the police chief said.

Anyone who suspects a child is being targeted for exploitation should contact law enforcement directly rather than attempting a confrontation, he added.

If someone was soliciting and talking sexual to your kid wouldn’t you either tell the person to leave your kid alone or turn in the conversations to the cops. People believe that they have a Doctorate in Keyboard Warrior with opinions making the Mississippi look straight doesn’t mean they should set up their own stings for views. All of this would have been avoided if the government didn’t have laws based on fear from horrific rare cases with the help of frightening and high from the Supreme Court. Congrats morons you have failed and all this sh*t lies at your feet. Chief Justice Roberts you are the biggest loser and your membership of that club is frightening and high.
