This is why I posted some months back that the University is the wrong place for these charges to be meted out. Hand them over to a local police or sheriff jurisdiction and get criminal matters out of the hands of the administration of an institution of higher learning. The accused will fare better when the cases are handled in the courtroom with a proper attorney. These administrative processes are for the most part Kangaroo Courts.
