Recently unsealed records reveal a much more extensive secret relationship than previously known between the FBI and Best Buy’s Geek Squad, including evidence the agency trained company technicians on law-enforcement operational tactics, shared lists of targeted citizens and, to covertly increase surveillance of the public, encouraged searches of computers even when unrelated to a customer’s request for repairs. I took my wife’s computer there and it was cheaper to buy a new one than get old one fixed. The Geek gay, said it would take him 4 weeks to fix her computer, now I know why. I have never been back, since. This article can put Best Buy out of business.
It is easy to see why the government wins in court nearly every time. This case is a perfect illustration. It is clear that some Buys Buy employees are agents of the government. A warrantless search by the government is illegal. What is the issue? This case also brings into question as to what constitutes an illegal image. If the government says that it is, then a defendant must pay thousands of dollars to try and win against the government, an almost impossible task. The government has so many resources that they always win.
