I would think that since polygraphs are not admissible in court and probation and parole is a arm of the court, then they could be ruled unconstitutional to use in a parole setting this should be fought in supreme court there is not enough proof that these test are accurate and should be outlawed.

“Members of victims rights groups had lobbied for the veto, arguing that the legislation would prevent individuals with expertise in the area of treating and managing sex offenders from serving on the board. ”
Wow…a policy to stop a biased group from benefiting financially is stopped by a group biased by hatred and wanting to financially stick it to offenders any chance they can regardless of what is right for society. There are plenty of experts out there, retired or teaching, that are the same or more qualified and wouldn’t benefit.
What a piece of #$%# governor they have there.
