LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA, August 26, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — Chance Oberstein has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing inspiration from the example of his grandfather, an immigrant from Russia, Mr. Oberstein pursued a career in law, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology, with a specialization in criminology, law and society, through the University of California Irvine. Following this accomplishment, he completed a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of California Davis before starting as an attorney for the Los Angeles Public Defender’s Office, where he worked during the majority of the 1990s. Over the years, Mr. Oberstein also gained valuable expertise in private practice with respect to case preparation, litigation and post-conviction relief.

Drawing on his years of practiced expertise, Mr. Oberstein excels today as an attorney for the eponymous Law Office of Chance Oberstein. Since establishing his law firm in 2011, he has focused his practice on sex crimes, parole and probation, assault and battery, drug crimes, felony reductions and expungements, gun and weapons crimes, homicide and juvenile law. In order to fulfill his commitment to social justice, Mr. Oberstein actively participates as a member of The Alliance for Constitutional Sex Offense Laws, for which he has served as President since 2017.
