Also during today’s meeting, the board announced that it will only meet six times during the year 2025. The dates and locations of those meetings follow: January 16 (Sacramento), March 20 (Burbank), May 15 (Sacramento), June 19 (Monterey), September 18 (Sacramento) and November 2025 (Sacramento). CASOMB previously conducted at least nine meetings a year.
Further, during today’s meeting, a board member reported that three complaints have recently been filed criticizing treatment providers. Of that total, two of the complaints were from registrants who were required to initiate a new treatment program although they had previously completed a different treatment program under a different treatment provider.
