A newly formed Pennsylvania State Police unit working to keep tabs on sex offenders is expected to soon come to Western Pennsylvania.
The Megan’s Law Compliance Unit consists of two troopers who work with local agencies to arrest sex offenders who have failed to register their addresses or online accounts or otherwise have violated the terms of their release. Full Article
My God! When will this insanity stop? I wonder if they have a law to back their efforts up, or if they have just taken this upon themselves so they can say they are doing something about “sex offenders.” If they aren’t backed up by law I wonder how many will stand up to them and not let them on their property and into their homes. They probably target parolees and probationers because their rights are virtually non existent. How weak!
They are simply trying to justify more spending and then will ask for more money and more spending and then more money…typical government tactics.
The police would rather CREATE crime than actually go out and actually prevent or solve crimes. Sure…harass some poor RSO at work…if they are lucky enough to find someone to even give them a job!
