TN: Pedophile Panic at the Salvation Army – No Teen Boys Allowed, Too Dangerous

When it comes to helping families in need, the Salvation Army turns a cold shoulder to one class of people: Teenage boys. A family in Johnson City, TN, found this out recently when, on a freezing cold night, they asked the organization for shelter. But because their family of five contained a 15-year-old boy, they were turned down.

As the dad, Tim Lejeune, explained to WMC Action News 5: “They said he’s too old to stay on the women’s side, because of the women running around in their pajamas and they said he’s too young to stay on the men’s side in case some pervert wants to do whatever,” Lejeune said.

Lejeune says his wife, their 15 year-old son, 16 year-old daughter and five year-old son, all down on their luck, have been living in their car for the last several weeks. So instead the family headed to their car. The temperature: 18 degrees. Full Article

So it is okay to kill a minor by letting him freeze to death, simply on the fear that he might get molested or he might molest someone?

I think i am going crazy, because for many years in a row, the logic people show is totally upside down, inside out and backwards. Please tell me others are seeing the same things and it is not all in my head … anyone?

It’s not in your head man I really don’t see how people get by in life being so mentally challenged. The ignorance and just plain stupidity of this nation is appalling and incomprehensible to me. I’m not an educated man but an idiot should be able to see how ridiculous some peoples thinking is.

Is this sexist or homophobic or both? Why isn’t the Salvation Army concerned that the 16 year old daughter could be molested by an adult female in the women’s side of the shelter?? Or is it only gay men that they feel they need to worry about?

Pretty soon if you look at a minor it be game over…

So women running around in pajamas is too risque? Have they never watched tv, gone out side, or looked out a window? I could go to a church and see far more flesh.

Perhaps I’m touching an American puritanical chord here, but maybe it’s time Americans catch up to the rest of the world and stop treating 15 year-olds as ignorant, helpless toddlers.

I’m sorry to say this, but this is probably going to make things worse. What will happen is that the inn, which apparently doesn’t have a policy against anyone at this point (other than teen boys), will now come up with an “obvious” solution: to ban registrants from all such facilities! Tennessee doesn’t have a ban on registrants yet, but that will change. Look for an emergency action to happen, probably before Christmas.

The Salvation Army have lost its vision. I stop giving to them number of years ago. They have became men pleasers instead of God servers. The YMCA are doing the same thing, IMO.
