This is great news! We can only hope it is the first step toward repeal of the ordinance. It is indeed unfortunate the Los Alamitos, like so many cities in Orange County, relied upon misrepresentations by the District Attorney, and did not conduct independent legal research before passing such a law.

Well, I guess I can now take my son to his baseball practices without feeling afraid of getting arrested! Well done. Its so sad it has come to this. These laws should now be a good example to California for the need to institute a Tier System to allow those low risk offenders and those who have been on the Registry forever to eventually fall off and get on with their lives! Well done Janice. Perfect timing. Baseball starts in 2 weeks!
