CA RSOL Meeting in Los Angeles – April 12

The next CA RSOL meeting in Los Angeles will take place on April 12 at 10 am, at the usual location – the ACLU building at 1313 W. 8th Street in Los Angeles.

Registrants, family and friends, supporters and professionals are welcome to attend. Media and Government officials are not invited in order to ensure everyone’s privacy. We will discuss current topics, changes in the laws as well as pending litigation and advocacy strategies. Special attention will be given to the recent changes in parks ordinances made by numerous cities in response to a letter sent by California RSOL. We will discuss current status and future plans on this topic.

Please join us on April 12 – Show up, Stand up, Speak up!

There will be much to share at this meeting including the lawsuits that have been filed or are about to filed challenging presence restrictions in cities throughout the state of California. Come to listen and to share….if you are a registered citizen or the loved one of a registered citizen. Media and government officials are not allowed to attend.

I’m going to try and make this trip as well. We need new tires on the van before we can make this trip.

      • Jason Wilson

Unfortunately, i will not be able to make it tomorrow. Budget was blown to pieces between a couple bills and overdraws on my bank account. I would have made it otherwise.

Been looking for help for my brother. Victorville California has done him so wrong

    Dear Janice,
How do you actually ensure the media and government don’t get into the meetings? I read an advice column (Ask Amy) in March 27th LA Times in which she gave scary advice to a paranoid grandmother about her granddaughter visiting her son. Grandma was concerned that the girl might be in the proximity of her son’s girlfriend’s brother who was previously incarcerated for molestation. Amy’s “advice” of making such a big deal of reporting everybody involved to authorities that I wanted to write and tell her to check out the CA RSOL organization to get the facts. On the one hand I want these radical people to get an educational clue, but on the other hand I don’t want them to get access to us. Here’s a link to the article

Anyone need a ride from San Diego county?

    • Q

See you there. Do you want to know how to recognize me?

      • Tim

You will have the letter “Q” on your name tag?

        • steve

Believe it or not every LA meeting has been a weekend where I was out of town. This one looks good. See you there.

  4. Q

    Hi Tim:

No name tag, because they always fall off. I will be wearing a black leather biker type vest and a biker type head wrap because, you guessed it, I’ll be riding my bike to LA. It will be nice to meet you. I always wonder what the people I talk to online are like, what they look like, etc. And by the way; my real life name is Larry.

Life’s too short for traffic; especially LA traffic!

  5. Tim

I’m sure the general schmoe who reads these posts will picture us all with a 5 day beard, a leering grin and clothed in a long trench coat. Barring an emergency, I look forward to seeing you there.

  6. Dee

I will be there for sure!

  7. Willsustainnoise

    I live in Los Angeles
    I will definatly be there

  8. Dr

Great meeting, thank you frank and the others. I will be back every meeting in L.A. From here out.

  9. Di

It was a fantastic meeting! 🙂 Thank you Frank, Chance, and others. We will do our best to be at all the other LA meetings as well!
