CA: Most Sex Offender Parolees Exempt from Ban

Three-quarters of California’s paroled sex offenders previously banned from living near parks, schools and other places where children congregate now face no housing restrictions after the state changed its policy in response to a court ruling that said the prohibition only applies to child molesters, according to data compiled at the request of The Associated Press. Time to begin some rough drafts of letters for our legislators in 2016.

Runner disagreed. She intends to try again next year to pass stalled legislation that would let judges in each county decide if the 2,000-foot limit is too restrictive in their jurisdiction.

“Unfortunately, that many people coming from transient to living near schools is not good,” Runner said.”

Make no mistake: The flurry of targeted, focused lawsuits brought about by Janice and CA RSOL have made the impact that you see in this decision. Without the tenacity of this organizations and its officers, the court’s decision may have gone in an entirely different, and disappointing, direction.

NOTE: This decision was so impactful it made (mostly) conservative Townhall.com’s list of Top 10 events that happened today. http://townhall.com/news/us/2015/12/14/10-things-to-know-for-today-n2093433

Maybe an initiative could pass that bars people who do not apply the constitution in their capacities as legislators, from being within 2,000 miles of an US citizen.

Yay! No if only I can go drop off / pick up my daughter from daycare, and take her to the park…

you are absolutely right. If we didn’t have Janice et el than we would probably be facing circumstances such as those in Florida and other regimes across this country…..I said it before and Ill say it again her and her staff are true patriots and protectors of the constitution from these domestic terrorist politicians that swore allegiance to it simply for their personal agendas. These politicians are more dangerous to this country than Isis ever will be…They are the domestic terrorist that need to be put on watch-lists every time they try to enact unconstitutional laws……

Also come next year when runner says she will push for her legislation on this issue, I am sure she will be able to provide instances where there was some kind of crime that had occurred of sex offenses by the parolees that can now live off the streets or near schools right????????????????? If not ,which I am sure will be the case, just how could she justify her legislation??????

Runner? again ?

Well, I do have to agree with Senator Runner. Nobody would probably want to live near a registered citizen, with the way officials attempt to portray them. I also wouldn’t want to live near gang members, drug dealers, convicted murderers, drunks, spousal abuser, homeless shelter, a busy school, rude neighbor, barking dog, gas station, nuclear plant or manufacturing plant. Life isn’t perfect. The senator is clearly ignorant, obviously doesn’t read statistics, nor realizes allowing people to be treated like human beings and have family support is part of rehabilitation. I might suggest she educate herself, prior to making such comments.

Sharon Runner is a broken bearing that needs to be remove and thrown in the trash pile. As long she remains she will cause more damages and is dangerous. She and George Runners built a legacy of destroying people’s lives without any cause. They are a fraud to Jesus Christ, a compassioned Lord, whom they claim to serve. They spent a career trying chase people from their homes, claiming “danger to children”, which, have been proven not be the case, as a distraction from ones that can and did come in their Christian School and harmed children under their watch. The Runner’s and their self-righteous wing nuts need to stop riding a dead horse and let the Parole Officers consecrate on the less one percent, that is coming out prison to insure safety of all.

So what does this mean to People living in California on Federal Supervised Release?
