just wanted to say something to folks that know what I am feeling and saying , about 3 nights ago someone trashed my truck , wrote sh?t on the windos of my room , kind of freaked my wife out , she just started seeing a heart doctor about a month ago , and the doc told her to stay calm and rest , and the day after that my son had some nasty trash splashed right next to the trash can in front of his room , that is next door to me , and when he went out pissed off about it some gangbanger tuned him up over it, it was a set up big time , stinking haters” part of me worried about my family , part of me deep sadness , and part me anger that I have not felt for many years , this kind of thing has happed before and of course it sucked , but this time its worse , most of the time I know everything that needs to be done , and where to go , but not this time , I cant just pull up and jam out in to the woods , I still need to be able to get my wife in to her doctor so she can finish her testing to find out whats up with her ticker ,and of course our money is funny , that’s why we live hear in this outhouse of a room , bed bug motel , I feel like I am failing my family ,, my family has seen these stalker idgits with there stupid phones and there dam cams , and I can see that it in there face before befor they even say any thing , most of the time I see these freaks and never say a word to my family , this is the only place I know I can go and blow all this out into the wind , I live in kern county so you know this is know joke , because place is full of haters , people that look for reasons to hate , we need a place we can rent outside of town bad , and every now an then I find one and its always the same they want a boat load of paper work or its way out there to much money . even the trailer parks that are dumps do a check on you and will not rent to RSO’s , frigging scumbags can run around braking every law on the books with no care what so ever , and me and my family stay low key mind our biz , HARM KNOW ONE! and I am the scum , clean 30 years , only busted trying to protect my self , you know the dag cops are going to make me pay, everyone else walks , sick of being a target for people that have no morels , scumbags that bully there way through life , I see them night after night , and day after day ,and the people that are cool know whats going on but are afaid to speak up , well you know the people I am talking about I don’t even have to go any ferther with that , I will say this my heart go’s out to those that care but cant help for what ever reason , from what I have seen there are not many of those critters around here and I am not to sure who they might be , I am sick of being punished as I am sure all of you are , I am just saying is all , I wish someone would help I really don’t know what to do , I just don’t want anyone else hurt , just want to live to ride again and feel the wind in my face,and not have to look over my shoulder and worry about my family , but I guess I can for get ever getting another bike , hell I cant even find a safe place for my family , my dreams are almost dead
There are over 800,000 on the registry. If only 2% were involved in an organization and donated say $25 a month. Plus some of their family members could also get on board, but if only 2% or 16,000 systematically donated we could raise $320,000 a month. Some for the organizations but the vast majority for legal challenges and a large chunk for a PR campaign. All organizations need a systematic membership program, there is real strength in numbers and also real strength in dollars. As of now the politicians have no political cover to do anything but pile on the new laws and quote the status quo. We have to pound the drum and get more members and raise more money. I wish that the organizations would take a lead in all 50 states. I do know that there are some members on this forum that have begun to work towards this end, at least in CA. Kudos to them. This is a nationwide fight and we need more help on a nationwide basis.
I have a question about tier level. I am was a level 1 based off risk. I’m no longer on the registry my 10 years are up. What I would like to know is if my state ever implemented the adam walsh act and I know it’s retroactive. I’m assuming I would be placed back on the registry as a level 2 or 3 based on offense. I was 21 years old when I slept with a 15 year old girl at a party. I was convicted of 3rd degree sexual misconduct. Where would that place me on the level for adam walsh act. I was not convicted of any injury, just flat out non consensual sex according to the law because she could not give it. Thank you!
My girlfriend and I are headed to Las Vegas for three days and two nights. My girlfriend booked the room and yes she knows about my registrant status. Has anyone done the registration process in Vegas recently? And if you did, was it a time consuming process?

I went to Vegas in 2015 it was an extremely easy process but took about hr and a half only because it was busy. I suggest going early in the morning. However with there new law they passed I don’t know if it has changed.

Don’t it make you sleep better knowing how the government is not only checking up on us but putting us on a public list…probably makes ignorant people sleep better at night.
Guess those resources could not have been put to better use like say…I don’t know…monitoring people who actually DO things like murder 60 people in one night.

My sympathy for the victims and I only wish that MY GOVERNMENT would stop using SEX OFFENDERS as a scapegoat and actually do something useful with tax money!
So, I was watching the news a few days ago, specifically “Legal View with Ashleigh Banfield”, and they were discussing the Brock Turner case. The discussion was about his light sentence as viewed by most. The field commentator that she was discussing this with made a statement to the effect of;
He may have gotten a light sentence BUT he has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his Life, so he will have a lifetime of punishment.
He actually used the word PUNISHMENT. It is so obviously viewed by society as a punishment to have to register. I can’t believe our country allows this under the constitution. I can’t believe the courts have ruled that it is not a punishment ! They seem to get away with it by taking the general stance that it is not the INTENTION of the law to be a punishment. But it shouldn’t matter what the intention is, but the outcome which is an ongoing punishment for those who have already paid their legal debt.

Sheriff came to my house today. I had my gate locked so they couldn’t get to my door. Haven’t seen them for about 2 or 3 years now. So I just checked my phone and found they called me and left a message that the Detective came by for a semi-annual compliance check. Wants me to call him to arrange a time for him to meet me at my house. lol. I don’t think so.
I think our “community” should build a coalition with the LGBT community and present a united front of discrimination by politicians. Our fight against oppressive laws is on a common level. Hate crimes, false reports, and outright lies by politicians are negatively affecting both groups.

Hello everyone,
I need some direction. Currently I am paroled in California. My family and my home is in Washington State. My offense was with my 13 year old stepdaughter. A single count of L&L was the charge. There are lots of reasons why this happened, but the reasons don’t really matter here. I did it, and have taken responsibility for my actions along with 3 years in prison, and now 5 years of parole to boot.
Here is where I am need of direction. I also have a biological daughter who was never victimized by me, and never will be. The parole powers who be, have decided to add a special parole condition to my vast list of conditions. This condition gives me absolutely no contact to my biological daughter. NO CONTACT MEANS: NO CONTACT. I can’t talk to her, much less move back home. This condition not only prevents any family reunification, it also makes me homeless in California, when I have a home, family, and support in Washington. I am considered low risk of re-offending, and have done all the standard evaluations, and even though these are their tests and standards, they don’t seem to really buy into them. I am in the process of appealing this condition, and I have a Habeas petition in court citing the “WOLFCHILD” case. So far the parole office has shot me down on the first level appeal. They say that the special condition is totally legal. They aren’t exactly wrong, but it is unreasonable. I’m not sure how this will play out, but I have a hard time imaging spending the next 5 years of parole without my family. As it stands we can’t even get counseling together.
The question is, will anyone listen to me without an advocate? Right now it seems like I’m a nonentity to them. When my wife and family try to advocate, these people act as if they are just as bad as I. I’m living in a van, I can’t pay for a lawyer, I can hardly pay for food. I need help.
I need strong and passionate legal representation NOW.
I have been threatened by the garden grove police department that they will start a sex offense investigation about me because I want to go to my 2 daughters school functions.
They told my wife this:
Just got off the phone with the principal. For you to even step foot on campus you would need to write a formal letter to the principal, at which point she has to notify the police department for them to open up an investigation to make sure nothing has happened since your convictions. If they find nothing has happened, they have to have a meeting with the principal and a detective and she has to have a written out plan as to where you will be at all times, she has to have a written out plan as to how you are to use the restroom. And you have to have an assigned monitor (her or an assigned teacher) with you from the second you step foot on campus to the second you leave. All this has to be submitted way beforehand of each individual date you’d like to be at the school. And a new process every single time.
I will NOT allow my family, friends or any loved ones subject to an investigation because I would like to go to my daughters open house.
Isn’t this unlawful to subject me and my family to an investigation with NO probable cause whatsoever?!
I need the names and numbers for good attorneys immediately. I will be contacting my own attorney tomorrow. But need multiple leads on this one.
I have been with my wife and 5 and 6 year old daughters pre and post conviction 5 years ago. I finished my probation of 3 years successfully. Fully employed and ready to fight this.

but we spend much time here discussing the State of Florida. Usually we hammer them pretty badly in that State. And they usually deserve it.
But this one we can all say we don’t want to see happen in any State.
I would like to send my sincere prayers to the family and to Florida for the loss of the two year old child, who’s life was taken by a reptile. The toddler was really in the wrong place at the wrong time.
We lose children in car accidents, weather related deaths and more…. and it is all tragic. But this one really hit me as to how fragile and important a life really is.

42-year Florida cop arrested for child porn. He solicited (online) a minor (15 year old) for explicit pics which she sent to him. He served as an officer for two decades. Married with five kids I think. Committed suicide after posting bond.

Just shows the stigma behind child porn arrests. Sounds like he was guilty of having nude pics of a 15-year old that sent them to him willingly. He is labeled a pedo and nearly everyone applauds his committing suicide.
The 15-year old was a “victim” and certainly won’t be charged with production and/or distribution of child porn.
my heart goes out to those families and friends in Florida what’s sad is i believe in karma and am beginning to think you can have collective karma where societies and communities suffer as a whole when those societies project and become evil by employing and enjoying the misery and despair of others who have limited or nonexistent ability to fight back or protect their selves. it’s just a theory but maybe this is why our country is suffering all these mass shootings and all the other horrific things that are happening here. might be karma…..
I have a question that I need some help with.
I was convicted “lewd and lascivious” felony in the presence of a under 14 minor, in 1990. In my home with my girlfriends daughter and neighbor child present.
No more drugs or alcohol for this guy since.
I’ve been living in Nevada for about 14 years now.
Prior to the new Adam Walsh Act going into effect 7/1/2016 in Nevada, I am
considered a tier 1 level SO. Apparently, there was some 20 question measurement they considered according to the SOR in Nevada… was how they determined your tier level. I just learned of this yesterday. Under Nevada law, you may petition the court for relief after 15 years as a tier 1 offender. A tier 2 offender can petition the court after 25 years. Apparently, this will remain in effect. But not for the tier 3.
Well, that system is going away in a couple of weeks.
Under the Adam Walsh Act, I have been placed as a tier 3 offender.
Report to local law enforcement every 90 days.
With no chance of relief, lifetime registration and community notification.
I’ve now been 26 years on the list counting Calif. and Nevada.
I really had no reason to try to obtain any relief from the courts here, as I was living life just staying under the radar. I simply didn’t tell any employer of my status. I’m now retired and on Social Security.
My wife wants to move back to Southern Calif. All of our grown up kids and our grand kids live in So. Ca. We need to get closer to our remaining family.
Other than the difficulty of financially living in Calif., can anyone explain why we should or should not move back to CA.?
My most positive reasoning, places me closer to Janice and the support of this group of
fighters. I feel I need to get off of my ass and help myself and others for our cause.

The Feds have been doing more and more of these multi-agency scams to create sex offenses and make sex offenders where there are none, screaming “predators” all the way. Latest is a two-month sting operation where they use decoys to professionally lure people in, who in a normal situation and in the real world would never do this, and bust them as “child predators.”
The latest is 238 people busted as child molesters in a two-month sting operation in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Pretty successful getting all these strangers molesting children — when the FBI’s own statistics and information shows hardly anyone other than parents, relatives, and close family friends and people regularly close to children, such as teachers, ever molests a child. Yet they come up with 238 such people who never do it and bust them and start screaming “child predator.” Clearly, there are not enough strangers molesting children, so they have to invent them.
This is nothing but terrorism. And they are planning a big, noisy, accusatory press conference for Monday to spread their terrorism.
At this rate, they will double the number of registrants in California in no time at all.
I’m watching the newest season of “Orange Is the New Black” and on the third episode there was a flashback scene of one character going to a registered citizen’s house (on a bet). I thought, “Great. What stereotype are they going to embark on?” To my surprise, it was actually dispelling the myth completely. It’s the first time I’ve seen a positive take, and that the RC character was treated with respect. The show is extremely popular, so I see this as among the incremental steps to help change people’s perceptions of the registered citizen. I have to say bravo to the producer of this show.
